Meet Dr. Oakes

Dr. Meghan Oakes has always loved science, the human body, and helping people, which led her to a career in the field of reproductive medicine.

She has dedicated her career to helping people from all walks of life find answers when it comes to their reproductive health and fertility. Every patient is different, and Dr. Oakes loves listening to her patients, getting to know them, and helping them find solutions. Whether they want to grow their families, overcome fertility struggles after cancer, or manage painful periods, Dr. Oakes takes great pride in providing empowerment through expert treatment. She considers it her greatest achievement that she is still connected to many of her patients after helping them reach their goals, and she treasures those relationships.

Dr. Oakes is a native of Nebraska who was born and raised in Omaha. She is passionate about Nebraska football. However, after attending college in North Carolina, she also found a love for North Carolina Tar Heels basketball and baseball. Outside the office, Dr. Oakes also enjoys crosswords, needlepoint, card games, and delicious food. She jokes that she doesn’t like cooking, but since she married someone who does, it works out well.

Dr. Oakes and her husband have two sons, and they love to spend their summers on the beach in North Carolina. While she loves her home and community in Nebraska, she calls the beach in North Carolina her happy place.
